BEN SANDERSON FCIARB HAS LAUNCHED A SOLE PRACTICE AS INDEPENDENT ARBITRATOR AND COUNSEL

AfAA member, Ben Sanderson FCIArb has launched a sole practice as independent arbitrator and counsel (www.sanderson-arbitration.com). Ben has over 20 years’ experience of complex international commercial and investment treaty arbitrations working at leading global law firms (DLA Piper, Skadden and Kirkland & Ellis).  He has advised clients across a range of sectors, notably energy and natural resources, construction and infrastructure, and technology and telecoms. He has particular expertise in disputes arising in Africa and has acted for a number of African States including Kenya, Zambia and Uganda. He has also acted on commercial claims in a number of other African jurisdictions including South Africa, DRC, Mali, Ghana and Morocco.

Ben has been a regular speaker at AfAA conferences, and he is a member of ICC UK’s Arbitration and ADR Committee. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
